LMBA Men’s Pairs 2017—Winners David Muller & Trevor Mathews

The Young Chelsea hosted the LMBA Men’s Pairs and Women’s Pairs on Sunday, 15 October. There were nine pairs in the women’s event and eight pairs in the men’s. The IMP‑scored events were combined into a single all‑play‑all field, with separate winners for the women and the men. This arrangement meant the women avoided having to sit out for four deals.

 

The men’s winners, topping the entire field on 87.62 IMPs, were David Muller & Trevor Mathews. They picked up a £40 prize.

The women’s winners, on 56.08 IMPs, were Catherine Seale & Anne Rosen. They also picked up a £40 prize.

LMBA Men’s Pairs 2017—Second Simon Gass & Alan Scott

Prizes were awarded to the top two pairs in both the men’s and women’s events. The second placed pair in each event received £25.

 

On 61.09 IMPs, in second place for the men, were Simon Gass & Alan Scott.
