To find the club premises, note that the building is set back from the main road behind a Sainsbury’s Local store and the premises comprise the basement area of the building. Access to the premises is via a gate and a passageway between Sainsbury’s Local, and Goldhawk Watch & Clock Repairers at 54a Goldhawk Road. Once through the passageway, the club entrance is to the left of the Young Chelsea signboard.

Those of you who come to the club outside the normal arrival times may sometimes find the gate from the main road closed. This is to provide security for the students who live in the flats above the club. There is an intercom system installed to the left of the gate, so if you find you can’t get in, just buzz on this and you will be given admittance.

The premises are directly opposite the western, Goldhawk Road, entrance to Goldhawk Road tube station on the Hammersmith & City and Circle lines. The club may also be reached by a walk of about eight minutes from Shepherd’s Bush tube station on the Central line or Shepherd’s Bush station on the Overground. You might also choose a walk of about 15 minutes north from Hammersmith station on the District and Piccadilly lines.

Buses 94 and 237 go along Goldhawk Road and stop just outside the premises. The 94 is a 24‑hour service.

A night tube service runs throughout Friday and Saturday nights on the Central and Piccadilly tube lines, but not yet on the Hammersmith & City or Circle lines. And throughout the night, Shepherd’s Bush tube station on the Central line is served by bus 94 eastbound, while Turnham Green tube station, at which Piccadilly line night tube trains stop, is served by bus 94 westbound.

Numerous other bus routes serve the Shepherd’s Bush area—numbers: 31, 49, 72, 95, 148, 207, 220, 228, 260, 272, 283, 295, 316, 607, C1, and N207.
